While not yet officially announced by the university, its appears that the Missouri Tigers will be participating in the South Padre Island Invitational during the 2009-2010 season.

The event could give Missouri up to four games, two of those played in Columbia and two to be played on a neutral floor at South Padre Island, Texas.

Mississippi State, Old Dominion, and Richmond are other schools that appear to be lined up for the 2009 event. As of this time, going off of their 2008-2009 finish, Missouri appears to be the strongest team in the tournament.
