Since there is a lot of talk on these boards about ETSU and Belmont heading to other conferences, I decided to use the same ESPN recruiting information I used in my last thread to compare conferences. The scores listed are the average recruit evaluation score.

I used the average evaluation score for each player listed for each conference for comparisons. Again, this does not include JUCO players. And, as usual, I hope our ETSU buddies will contribute.

ASun 75.68
OVC 71.94
Southern 70.47

Now, before I get fried, I’m not an ASun advocate. The numbers for recruits do not factor for NCAA bids, this is just for entertainment purposes only.

How do you feel these conferences will compare in a few years?

Well, Gold, pardon me for jumping in.

Since there's a good chance that at least a few of these schools won't even be in the ASun in 4 years, it's hard to tell.

However, looking at history, I'd say they'll compare about like they historically have:

Southern: 15 to 23

OVC: 20 to 26

ASun: 26 to 30

Obviously, there are years when the numbers differ.
