UofL choked big time, losing a late 12-7 lead. Congrats to USF, they are regular season champs unless they collapse down the stretch. It will all come down to the BE tournament to see who makes the NCAA tournament.

RE: USF sweeps WV
ND won 13-12, on a Golden Tate (1000 yard football WR too) HR in the top of the ninth.

ND was down 12-7 and tied it with five in the seventh and won it in the top of the ninth to take two of three at Louisville.

Lots of scoring in this series. ND was down 6-0 on Friday night, took a 7-6 lead into the bottom of the ninth, but the Cardinals scored two for a 8-7 win.

Saturday was an 11-5 Irish win. Very good series if you like lots of scoring and very little pitching.

UC is playing pretty well right now. They have won 5 in a row and the pitching is getting a little better. But it will be tough at USF. We'll see if the Bearcats can spoil some of their fun.

Question--I don't follow BE baseball at all, but it seems from reading comments on this board that USF plays a LOT of BE games at home? Is that set up that way to give teams a trip to Florida? Or does USF play an equal number of home and away conference games?

USF plays the same number of home/away conference games as everyoneelse. The 12 game win streak I refered to goes back to last year
