Greg Paulus to Cuse
ESPN reports

We'll see if he can crack the top 2.

I don't see much downside.

He a talented kid, it's shame he couldn't go thru spring practice.
Even if he can't play QB, I wouldn't doupt he could play WR or in
the def backfield

With Paulus on the team that will make 4 qb's total. Out of the 4, you have only seen 1 play, and he is not even the starter this season because he was beaten out by a freshman. Along with Paulus, if he's really coming to the Cuse, we have a highly touted qb coming in in August.

I'm interested in seeing how the Orange do in the fall. It would be nice to see y'all competitive again. Classic eastern football, ya know?

At least the facemask will keep him from being teabagged on the field.

As far as Paulus not getting teabagged since he will be wearing a helmet, I wouldn't count on it. You never know what might happen on the bottom of the pile once he get's sacked.

Link? I don't doubt it, but as of right now, neither ESPN.com nor Syracuse.com have this story up.

ESPN did have this last night, but its been pulled.

Here's a Detroit Free Press article inferring that Syracuse is more likely than Michigan.

Sounds like your opinion of him has changed:

"I don't see much downside" (since he is now going to be at YOUR school).

Interesting.

Interesting.

Yeah I've done a reversal...I have issues with the Paulus Clan but for SU it is a low risk propositon. We have low QBs numbers he either adds depth or starts. His attitude seemed good when he was benched at Duke. I'll cheer for SU with or without Paulus.

Paulus will make a good three point shooter to go along with Devendorf and Rautins. Other than that he can stay at duke.

No...he has already been in collegiate athletics for the past 4 years.

You can't play one sport in college for 4 years...then play another sport for 4 years....and/or another sport for 4 years.

It doesn't work that way.
