There's a brilliant DVD waiting to be made on that game.

ESPN already made a DVD out of the broadcast.

Yeah, but I mean with all the extras -- interviews with players/coaches... stuff about what the teams had done in the season before that, and what happened afterward... highlights from the other 5/6-OT-type games in CB history.

And we UCONN fans have to be reminded of this game forever. Tough loss but we literally handed the game on a platter to the Cuse. If they just made one damn free throw or any of those last minute shots, it would be over. Sadly, no one will remember that. It was definitely one of the greatest game ever except the result for UCONN fans :)

And if Devendorf's 3 had counted before time ran out, you would have never had the chance to "handed the game on a silver platter to Cuse" as you say.

All of that is part of the game. No sense in making excuses. It was one of the greatest college games ever played. No shame in losing. Someone had to. I would feel the same way even if we lost.

Not really

As bad of a loss as for this year, the loss to George Mason still stings to this day. UCONN was the best team that year but somehow they can't get it done against George Mason that year.
