It now appears to be Miami.

If it happens I will be both shocked and delighted. Didn't think PSU would offer us anything more than 2 for 1.

It will be great to see Penn State and Rutgers play again if this home and home series is finalized. Who needs Notre Dame and the Meadowlands. Now if Rutgers can work on Michigan and Ohio State for home and home games that would be great too. We already play Indiana, Illinois, and Michigan State.

If I were Penn State...I would tell Rutgers one game in Happy Valley and one game in the Meadowlands. 05-stirthepot

No room at the inn. The Giants and Jets play there on Sundays and New Jersey Dame plays their home games there on Saturdays against Army, Navy, Syracuse, and UConn.

Anything Rutgers can do to upgrade their schedule, they should do. At this point, they need quality opponents, not the crap they've been feeding their fans. If this is the only way to get it, take it. Penn State is a traditional eastern foe, and it would be great to get them started playing eastern powers again...

I love how their own website calls us old rivals, you'd figure it they truly looked down at all their actual rivals so much and loved the Big Ten so much they would've been neutral on that. Its a shame its not a long term series, but this is a good start I say. For once we likely should match up with these guys very well.

Joe has said 2 for 1 'similiar to temple' may be feasible. As for the 6-4, 1 and done, or no to short term series, they're message board fodder. oh well.

actually in 2002, psu seemed receptive to a single home/home. Pitt 'balked', wanting a longer series. Thanks.
