I don't know how Salim wasn't called for a travel. He really did slide the feet but I think the refs couldn't see around the defender. Anyway, great played game by both teams.

It was in all the morning papers.They even interviewd Channing Fry about it....He declined to comment, meaning he saw it too....at the very least the ref's should have waved it off and sent the game into overtime.....the devils were robbed :mad: :bang: 05-nono

I've never really been one to whine about officiating, the call could have gone either way, if ASU would have hit a couple of more FTs they would've won anyhow.

Either way I am glad ASU rose to the challenge. If they could have a winning record in conference play, they could be a consideration for the NCAA's..

Yeah, at least the game was competitive and enjoyable for 59 minutes and 50 seconds. ASU beat Stanford twice this year, took UA to the limit and lost to USC twice and CAL at home, go figure.
