Ole Miss beats Arkansas State 9-6. We actually had a 5-1 lead in the 5th inning thanks to 2 Guy Brown homers. but one of our relievers had a really bad outing and gave up 6 runs and that was that

Derek Riley, who lost his Sunday starting job to Freshman jacob lee, did okay. only gave up 1 earned run in 4 innings. But he walked 5 hitters, which is what got him in trouble in SBC play, and we were dodging bullets all night, leading the decision to go to the pen

0-3 against the missies this year...but we got better as each game went along...so I guess thats improvement

I hope the teams can step it up in this widweek. Having an overall winning record after this set of midweek games is done would be a nice little boost for the RPI.
