PITT or VIllanova
I'd like the Panthers to win it all because they are the only BE team left in the tournament that doesn't own a national title. But frankly the way Pitt has been playing (sort of like Syracuse last night) yo have to wonder if they are taking this seriously enough.

Louisville and UCONN both play like they have a purpose. Villanova does also. Pitt has done nothing in this tournament to show their greatness. Blair carried the team from time to time.

I'd like Pitt to win it all but I think Villanova has a better chance of beating UNC. Pitt seems the weakest of the four teams the BE has left but they do manage to squeak out wins and maybe that's all they will need.

I agree with you. When Pitt played UCONN both times this year, I am convinced there was not a team in the country that could have beaten Pitt those two nights.

However, they have played out of sync since the last game of the reg season. Fields, Blair and Young want to get to Detroit but they need to get this team focused and playing to their abilities.

In saying that, and this pains me deeply, I can't see Pitt winning because of this funk they are in. I really, really hope I am wrong.

I'm going with Pitt and here's why. Pitt has struggled in the NCAAs because they have played teams who played rough house basketball to try and throw them out of sync. Xavier and Oklahoma State didn't want to run with Pitt. But with Nova Pitt can get out and run and they have a superior frontcourt. Pitt has to hit their outside shots though. Still, I like Pitt in this matchup.

If Blair stays out of foul trouble, Pitt should win this game easily. Otherwise... 07-coffee3

Quite simply, if the teams continue today as they have played over the last 2 rounds, Nova is going to the Final 4. If Pitt brings more focus and pounds it inside with purpose to Blair, they can win.

Check that... they will win but, and its a big but, they need to get back to how they played during the regular season.

Phenomenal game!

Congrats to 'Nova!

A sigh of relief from a UConn fan who knows that Pitt has/had our number this year. 03-phew
