Akron vs Toledo: The Day After
I just finished this work and posted on the VanDelay Sports MAC basketball blog entitled "Akron vs Toledo - The Day After." In this post I take a look at the officiating of last night's game which included 62 fouls and 88 free throws.

Great article and I completely agree. The refs should not be calling this many fouls in a game that was not overly physical. I am curious if anyone from the MAC office says anything about your article.

Was this two bad teams not playing defense without fouling or refs bailing out star players.

Star players? In the MAC? This year? I'd say it was the refs just not letting two teams play. Simple as that.
