RE: ETSU game
I certainly don't hate ETSU either. I do respect you greatly.

Now this really may make you hate me, but I couldn't help but smirk when 3/4 of our team was announced as All Academic and then it was pretty quiet after most of the ETSU guys were announced (maybe one or two like that Lerch Coy). We do it right!

O.K. Enough with the smack talk though. You showed us who our daddy was twice this year, so congrats to the Bucs! I will be pulling for you all hard in the tourney!

You will find that I don't give a damn about an athlete's performance in the classroom beyond the base level that the NCAA requires. I think it is ridiculous to say this athlete makes All Academic....the purpose of the court is to honor ATHLETICS not Academics. So the "smack talk" is going to have to go up a great many notches to inspire the wrath of Goldfinger

I think that I am the only ETSU fan that loathes DAVID lipscomb.

BTW

For all of you little belmont guys holding up three of your fingers at the end of the game on Friday....Know that this now ETSU's 8th appearance in the dance.

Thought I had seen some others, not even necessarily ETSU fans that were spouting anti David lip sentiments.

While you all were upset with coming down to the A-Sun, the reality is, many of us who are no longer students but still fans were glad to see ETSU come into the A-Sun as it did add some "street cred" to the conference. I don't know if the current students would have a full appreciation of the historical impact of ETSU. But recent history definitly is in Belmont's favor and who can blame them for being proud of that.
