OKAY- I GOT SOME BAD INFORMATION!

I swear, there was a story about Illinois beating Penn State by nine points on the Chicago Tribune site just a few minutes ago.

But it seems now that report was wrong- or perhaps it was a women's score- or I don't know what- but the Nittany Lions beat the Illini by a point, 64-63.

So yes, congrats Ed DeChellis.

Because even though I got it wrong initially- I still don't look as bad as Rod Shaw has all these years past and especially right now by putting you down.

It was on ESPN as Lipscomb was crushing the Camels on CSS. One of PSU's guards drove and hit a shot with .3 of a second to win it.

I do a Google Search under news and it says "Illinois Beats Penn State" and the source is the Chicago Tribune- I go with it.

It's funny you mention that, because I know DeVoe and DeChellis were friends and that's how Eddie D got Greg Stephens to transfer from Navy.

For about 20 years UT fans wished they could have had DeVoe back. I hope that doesn't become the case here.
