Should be interesting to see how the lads go this year with favoritism on their backs. It's a shame that they'll be ineligible for the end-of-season junket to Omaha if they do end up on top of the table.

Hopefully there will be a bit of fan interest as well.

The series against Kent State this weekend should be a good one too.

Well the baseballers got pipped 5-4 by Tech on Wednesday. Currently playing Kent State, who are ranked #21 by one of the ranking agencies. Won the first of today's double-header games 3-2. Next game is at 3 and there's another one on tomorrow.

Not a bad effort.

Looks like we took both games in dramatic fashion. Good wins against good competition.

huge game today. the owls face off again against #3 Georgia Tech. we almost beat them last week, losing 5-4. The school is expecting a huge crowd because they are advising people to pick up tickets at 3:15, even though the game starts at 6. After beating then #21 Kent State in back-to-back games, if the Owls can at least split the home and home against GT it would be huge for this program. I'll be there and I'm so pumped for my first game of the year, anyone else going?
