For Cowboy Junky re your CUSA post.
I note the Tulsa/Liberty Bowl tv ratings were more than double the TCU/Houston Bowl...and was quite high in comparison to many other bowls. We are happy in CUSA; good luck to Cowboys.

You're a Tulsa fan. No one wants Tulsa in their conference except Conference U Suck Ass. If the MWC decides to add another premier CUSA team to it's roster it will. The precedent has already been set. Do you remember TCU leaving the MWC for CUSA? If the MWC decides to kick teams out for underperforming and still collecting a check....Oh, wait, we already did that. We kicked out Tulsa, Utep, SMU, Rice....

That Tulsa team just won Conference USA in football, womens basketball and 1-2 other olympic sports.

So yes, we "want" them an awful lot and are glad that we have the Golden Hurricane. They carried on their success into a win over Fresno State in the Liberty Bowl.

Why MWC wouldn't want them is beyond me, but we're glad you don't!

TCU made a bold move in going out west instead of staying in CUSA. UTEP, SMU, and Houston must be wondering why TCU bet on the MWC.

You "kicked them out" and then they went to a superior conference. Go figure.

I bet I can guess the answer to why they went to the MWC. They wanted an easier route to a championship and the BCS, and it almost worked out for them, but they lost to SMU. Wait a second, what conference are they from, oh yeah, they come from the C-USA, THE GREATEST NON-BCS CONFERENCE IN THE COUNTRY. And therefore didn't stand a chance a busting the BCS like Utah did a few years back.

Nope, we couldn't care less. UTEP, SMU, Tulsa, Rice, and Houston love being together in a league like CUSA. We don't give TCU a second thought.

Tulsa joined the Big XII when I wasn't looking?

Sure you don't! That's why just about every other post on the CUSAbbs has TCU's name in it! lmfao

Trust me on this, TCU fans certainly do feel that UTEP, SMU, Rice and Cougar High do, in fact, all belong together! Misery loves company!
lmfao

I hardly ever see any topics about TCU on CUSAbbs..except for some topics lately that have been poking fun at the MWC with their "mtn" of a tv deal. lmfao
On the other hand the MWC forum is filled with threads about how to include UTEP into an expanded MWC. 01-wingedeagle
UTEP, SMU, Rice, and Houston are all doing just fine in C-USA, I enjoy having UTEP play in a mostly Texas based West Div. in C-USA. Enjoy the goats TCU! ;-)
