Here's to the Bruins!
Finally a second half worth mentioning...overcoming a 21 point deficit against Campbell....I'm mad I missed it. I had planned to listen to the second half on the radio after work but saw the halftime score and decided it was a done deal....how very wrong I was:)

I'm sure Campbell players, coaches, and fans are irate, but this was a great day to be a Bruin!

Ok from BU fans I'm hearing stunning victory, from everyone else I'm hearing choke job by Campbell. What really went down in the second half? It feels like Campbell probably choked but at the same time BU came together and played some inspired basketball. Anyone wanna comment on this?

Campbell was up 18 with 3:47 left. You tell me.

CU missed free throw after free throw and Belmont didn't miss from 3.

Well that must be depressing for CU fans, wow...but I'll take the W regardless. This way he still stay in the race for top spot.

It is depressing. Anyway we can steal your coach. He did a heck of a job. Our coach did not know what hit him.

A lot of it is a winning mentality....In ETSU's short time in the A-sun....I've never seen Campbell have such a thing. I also think that is Mercer's problem

RE: Here's to the Bruins!
I posted the note below on the Belmont board, but I think the numbers are astonishing enough that all should see....

-----------------------------------------------

I think it is even more impressive when you hear we were down 15 with 2:23 to play.

Also, Campbell did at least score 10 points in that last 3:47. If you score 10 points every four minutes you will score 100 for the game. It isn't like they didn't score at all, though they did miss some freebies. That means that we had to make up the 18 we were down plus the 10 they scored, plus the margin of victory.

Lastly, if you score 31 points every 4 minutes you would score 310 points for the game. That's one crazy outburst.
