That certainly is a winable game. Morehead hasn't beaten anybody very good this year.

Did we expect anything more for a .500 team in the bottom half of its league? I am surprised the MAC did not put into a bunch of games with Horizon teams. Usually those are the easy matchups for non-contending teams.

Having been to Morehead, Kentucky, I can say a lot about the town and let's just say I wouldn't write home about the ladies (now UK, 40 miles to the west, those are worth writing home about!!!). But here are some facts (I can attest to these being true) and a picture.

Morehead, Kentucky...The home of Morehead State University. It is known as the Hardwood Capital of the World, it straddles the Licking River, and is home to Johnson Arena.

As an undergrad, we played @ Morehead St. - the coach at the time was a guy named Dick Fick. Google him. He was a slob and a ridiculous coach. But they stomped a mudhole in our ass. What memories I have. Remind me one day to tell everyone about the post-game comments after Sienna smoked us in 1995.

I'm sure at least one will make the trip. There's always the return game.

this is a good game for us because it's a game we can win. we are under 500 no way were are getting in anyways. with the weak mac and bad bracket-buster game maybe we can pull of another 20 win season. this is one of our best recruiting tools, and we need it because people are forgetting about the elite 8. the kids now don't remember that.

It isn't. Unless K-Zone picks it up, this is one of the many non-televised events in the BB. Only 13 games are on ESPN and two of those are on ESPN360. IN the new parlence, only the 13 games on ESPN are "Bracketbuster" games. Game like we and nine other MAC teams have are just "other" games that could have been had the teams been better.

ESPN has loved us in this event: we have had great exposure and gotten some great matchups. We screwed the pooch this year and are getting what we've earned. Wait 'til next year!
