Thanks...and thats why all I did was just post the link to the USF's beat writers story.

I'm pretty certain that there would be no follow up to point out that Mercer's been kicked off the team...

http://blogs.tampabay.com/usf/2009/01/us...-stan.html

That would require posting something that doesn't cast USF exclusively in a bad light.

Just thought I'd point out that his post here: http://www.ncaabbs.com/showthread.php?tid=341833 was left up, it ripped on everyone in the conference because of our poor turnouts for the bowl games. If it is legitimate news about a team from the conference I see no reason to remove the post. You probably wouldn't have complained if it was posted by a Big East fan.

Do I wish KL would just stay over on C-USAbbs? Yes. I am not going to ban him for posting legitimate news articles, however. Whether they are backhanded or not, they are legitimate.

Do I think the USF fans are way too sensitive about this stuff? Yes.

Sensitive? No just tired of all thi sBS that KL keeps posting ,is not only on this board but in others. What he posts on a CUSA board or a UCF board I couldnt careless about. But when I come to a Big East board and constantly see these types of posts from ONE particular poster that obviously has an agenda and is not to inform but just to air out any negative news on USF. Yes I and other Bulls fans get tired of it.
I dont see any other Big east school that has this particular problem with a non BE poster. Im sure that Cincy fans would be just as tired and PO if a Miami Ohio fan was constantly on this board putting any post that would paint UC in a negative light.

Cuban,

You may be right and I'd get tired of it, but at the same time I would treat them the same if they were only posting news articles.

So...

1. I do not hold USF in any lower regard based on the articles that are posted by UCF fans. You shouldn't worry about it yourself.

2. UC has taken plenty of crap over the years from Miami and Xavier fans. Post-Huggins they feel sorry for us now and don't show their face very often. We still have Xavier fans who post regularly on our board now, but we have them involved with discussion of college sports in general.

3. I keep a very close eye on UCF posts here. His posts may be backhanded, but they are legitimate news articles.

4. Post-Huggins debacle all bad news regarding UC is posted by the pro-Huggins/anti-Zimpher group of fans. If you check out our site you see a constant barrage of attacks against UC still to this day, 3.5 years after the fact. It is much worse than anything UCF fans post, but it is part of our fanbase. We don't remove people who have a legitimate article to post and isn't rehashing the same baseless crap over and over (just like we move most of the conference expansion and Big East losing their BCS bid crap from here).

You're probably right they won't care if it were posted by a BE fan. There being sensitive, that time of the month.

You don't help the situation. If I just took the easy road then most of our issues would go away...

We debated taking Crater on our board at Ohio. Many said don't take him because he was too much trouble. Now this story comes out. We dodged a bullett, but these kids are hit and miss. South Florida has to take some chances in order to close the gap in the Big East. One year they get lucky and other not so.

I'm still looking to find the first post that contributed anything to the board from bizzle. Sometimes you let bottomfeeders stick around however.
