Congrats to the Huskies.

UConn will move up #2 in the polls on Monday. Could be #1 the following Monday, if Duke loses to Wake Forest on Wednesday.

As for the Irish, they will need to turn it around and beat Marquette on Monday or else a 3-game losing streak might turn into an 8-game losing streak.

And if that happens, maybe the presidents won't have to kick them out, they may crawl away wimpering on their bellies, mumbling "No Mas". 03-lmfao 05-stirthepot

Cheers,
Neil

Notre Dame bites the dust. It couldn't happen to a nicer group of folks...

The win was nice but missing all those free throws at the end of the game was pathetic.

I was getting so freakin pissed off. If ND wasn't cold as hell, they would have came back. ND freakin started to foul at the 3 minute mark and Uconn kept missing free throws. Especially on the first of a 1 and 1.

From what I have seen of Uconn this year...this is probalby their best team since the Richard Hamilton days...IMO...anything less then a final four for UConn would be failure

We're pretty good right now, but I'm still not sold this team is a national title contender-the effort needs to improve game in and game out (much as it did tonight).

UCONN has all the pieces for the title run. They just need to play more consistent game in and game out. One game they knock down all the free throws and next they missed 50% of them. If AJ Price can keep playing like he has been last few games, UCONN will go far. There is not many teams that can match UCONN's inside-outside combo.

UCONN was just beat up Domers physically. Also, one of the UCONN recruits Majok is finally at the school. He won't be eligible until next DEC. Calhoun said the kid can play 25 mins on the current team now. Future is bright if he is as good as Calhoun said.

Got to love Zach Fraser (potential starting QB for UCONN next year. He is also a former ND QB). The guy went to the UCONN/ND game sporting an UCONN football jersey.
