Hopefully with new polls we are top 5 when we come into Storrs. Should be a good one.

Don't know what schedule you are looking at but UConn plays at Louisville this year We still have three games (@Syracuse, USF, WVU) to get through before the UConn game. One game at a time.

I think he's talking WOMEN's bb. 03-wink

UConn being #1 was the giveaway.

Good luck UL. Cards might be able to keep it close, but most likely it will be a beat down. So far this year, UCONN has steamrolled most teams regardless if they are ranked or not. Scary thing is most of these players are still fairly young.

Husky, I agree, it really doesn't matter who you guys play you've been rolling. I hope we can keep it competitive, and this is a good experience game for us for later in the tourney. Its always good to play the best in regular season for experience. Good luck, don't throw it on us to bad tonight. Or we may have to reciprocate next Monday night at the Hall.

04-cheers

Honestly, I am hoping the Cards can keep winning (outside of tonight potentially) and get a 2 seed NOT in UConn's bracket. I think the Cards have a solid shot at the Final 4, but I don't want to play the Huskies prior to then. We played well last year in the Elite 8 before falling to UNC, just as the guy's team did.

I hope all the BE teams stay out of UCONN's bracket when it comes to March. We don't want to eliminate fellow BE teams. I hope this is true for both men and women's team. It sucked last year when RU had to meet UCONN early in the women's bracket.

Anyway, good luck to the Cards. At least after playing UCONN tonight, they know what elite level basketball competition is like in women's game. Those girls are simply amazing. They beat teams by 30+ points regularly.

93-65 final. Can't see anybody beating UConn this year.

I agree, you guys are able to score at will and I think that just frustrates the other team into silly mistakes and shots. Great game on your part, hopefully our girls got something out of it to build on.

Geno took the foot off the pedal towards the end. At least the difference was under 30. UL is a good team, but UCONN is just at another level.

This team will go undefeated this year and they could go undefeated next 2 years. Maya Moore is only a sophomore. All the new kids are also super talented. This team is deep. If the men can make it this year, we could do another dual national championship.
