Dwayne Difton to Uconn
Our first **** recruit of the year, and our second big-time WR (Malik Generett, who WVU offered, is the other guy).
This guy will see immediate playing time (I think) and could quickly become a star.
He was also offered by Southern Miss (who is recruiting up a storm under Fedora), BC, Rutgers, USF, Colorado State, Minnesota, Syracuse, and Purdue.
Hopefully Tennessee or Rutgers don't snatch him away at the last second.

He committed to USF early in the process and then backed out hoping for bigger names to come calling. I heard he tried reaching out to USF a few weeks ago but we had moved on. He could be a good WR.

It's great to have another big time WR. Now we just have to find out if we have a QB to throw to him.

congrats he's a very nice player, he pretty much burned any bridge he had with usf after he decommitted, but i still think he's going to be a very good receiver and should start immediately. i'm glad he picked a big east team, although much like other recruits we shunned like david rowe from rutgers or greg lee from pitt he's probably going to play with a huge chip on his shoulder against us.

Not wise. David Rowe played a little bit for us last year as a TRUE Frosh and from what I have seen of him he is going to be a beast.

oh don't worry i know, i couldn't believe we didn't offer him, we took a kid from miami who was an auburn commit instead, i guess the knock on rowe was his size. but his brother was a baseball player here and he was a huge usf fan, in fact one of the first interviews he ever had they asked him who his fav player was and without hesitation it was mike jenkins. u gotta love that wish we had space for him.

UConn adds another receiver- "two" star Mike Lang, with offers from USF, Missouri, Iowa State, Louisville, Cincy, Colorado State, and FAU. This is one of the many UConn "two" stars with many BCS offers-Leon Kinnard and Kesean Chambers are examples of others.
Welcome Mike!

He is agood get. has speed and will be agood WR. We are pretty much at our limit right now in scholarships and I think we are really waiting on three kids.

Lang would probably make a better safety and he's a burner probably faster than difton, don't let the 2 stars fool you he's going to be a good one. like cuban said we're waiting for hosley 4 star cb us/va tech, jason pierre paul 5 star juco def end us/nebraska, sterling griffin 3 star wr us/purdue, and barrington a 3 star lb who's deciding between us/miami/illinois.

RE: Dwayne Difton to Uconn
UCONN has recruited a class full of great WRs. Lang, Drifton, Aiken and Generett are all great gets. We gonna need to land a top notch QB next recruiting class to throw to these kids. Two FLA kids in two weeks from top FLA programs. I don't care about those recruiting ratings, but this is turning into a pretty decent class. If we land Barkevious Mingo this weekend, this could be a great class. The way Edsall develops defense players, why won't he come here? He also mentioned academics is important. Well, UCONN is a great place to get an education where our players actually graduate.
