Gtwn - Duke
It has turned into a Duke lovefest. Time to switch to something else.

What do you mean become? This game began with both announcers with Krzyzewski on their breath.

RE: Gtwn - Duke
Duke needed to win this game after Coach K crying before the game how the ACC is the best conference. 03-lmfao

Of course to win this they needed two offensive charge calls on Monroe (ridiculous Duke flops get love again from the refs) and a phantom technical on Monroe while on the bench. 03-wink

I happen to agree with Bilas' analysis. It all depends upon how you define 'best'.

At this moment the ACC is slightly better at the top, but once you get past the Top 3 ACC teams, the Big East is much better. The ACC is also better at the bottom as well.

So depending upon how you define 'best' a case can be made for both conferences. And neither conference is that far ahead of the Big Ten this year.

Cheers,
Neil

RE: Gtwn - Duke
Refs gave this game to Duke. Duke would get hammered in the BE with their lame style of play. If Monroe stayed in the game , GTOWN wins. Duke must have professional flops cause some of those fouls on Monroe were ridiculous.

I love to see UCONN play this Duke team on a neutral court. If the refs call it fairly, I just don't see how this team can hang with UCONN's big men.

RE: Gtwn - Duke
omni, if you put the best Big Tin teams in The BEast, they'll end up as also rans. In the Big Tin they're great. But I seriously doubt that any of 'em could stand up to the long haul that qualifies as a season in The BEast. I'm certain that none of 'em would challenge for the conference crown...
