Foster starting again?
Ran into him the other day. Polite, friendly young man. He seemed confident that he would be starting again. I guess he's as good a source as any. I think he deserves to start. I also felt better about the way Patterson played against UNO. I guess you can always count on good defense from Brandon, it's just the offense that is hard to predict.

RE: Foster starting again?
The quality minutes he is getting here should be a huge plus for next season. He looked OK in the game, not spectacular, but steady.

I'm not making comparisons, but the kid reminds me somewhat of Derrick Fisher when he was a freshman. He has a strong body, plays tough defense, and handles the ball pretty well. Unfortunately he doesn't shoot it like Fish yet, but I believe he's capable of doing some decent scoring as we go along. It will be a real battle for the starting spot next season with Bozeman becoming eligible. I like what I've seen from both young men.04-cheers

Doc; Derek Fisher is a fascinating story. He was a great player for us but, I don;t recall that he was a real good shooter. I believe you can make a comparison of Fish and Foster. Given the chance, I believe Foster will be outstanding. He may never play in the NBA but, while he was a Trojan, I know of no one who thought of Derek playing in the NBA.
