Temple Basketball is upholding their Play 4 MAC games per season requirement. So they flew into Detroit in a snowstorm, played in front of 400 people, routed Eastern Michigan and had their RPI drop 14 places...

Now you know what it's like to play Temple in football.

Since joining the MAC, Temple is 7-7 in MAC play. BGSU 8-6.

I guess your penitentiary doesnt grant newspaper priviledges.

But you are still Temple. Looks awful on bowl resumes.

And how is the "great" Temple hoops team doing against the MAC this year? Finished at .500?

=>I am thinking losing at home to Miami (by 16 pts btw) did not help Temple's RPI either. Temple is what...2-2 vs. the MAC this year?

Don't worry Walt, league games vs. 2-13 Fordam and 5-10 UNCC will help bring up the RPI!

Ah MAC boys with their chests bumped out and panties in a knot.

Temple football is now a solid MAC Team... When Temple beats you in football I will understand your sadness...It's sports. I think that plenty of schools still fire their coach after they lose to TEMPLE.

Temple basketball is a tier higher then the MAC... Come see us in MARCH and show us how deep you have Temple going in your bracket. Compare the MAC to the A-10 for the number of bids... and then we will "SHUT UP"

The Bangles are in the AFC championship game since they tied the Eagles... right?

Living vicariously thru sports teams is sad.

Congrats on the Phillies' and Eagles' success, but accept that doesn't mean you aren't still a loser.

Gee, Walt. Great start here on this site. :muttering:

I'm not part of the regular Temple bashers around here but appearances like yours may make me rethink that. Five posts and you already have a negative rep?

What is it about Temple fans that produces those with such a superiority complex? It can't be your athletic teams.

RE: Thanks MAC
Lets be honest here guys you really think there are multiple people that create screen names and start off bashing the MAC? Its one guy maybe two. Now don;t get all witty there aren't more then one or two TEMPLE fans just not more then one or two that make new screen names and bash the MAC. IT gets the same folks all fired and then dies back down for a week or so....

Don't misconstrue my statement... Does anyone want to join the A-10 for basketball only??? I would be up for it. It just doesnt; Make sense for TEMPLE all sports... its not the current arrangement and when its time to reevaluate lets all have a 10,000 view thread.

Temple football meet MAC football... MAC basketball meet TEMPLE basketball. The other stinks, I know it hurts to admit it but lets all be honest its the truth. You love your school and team so do we.

I am not a loser... nor do i need your acceptance to understand that, but thanks for the retort this message board sure would be lonely by myself.

You're calling yourself a solid MAC team w/ a 5-7 record? Are you kidding me?

If you're too good for the MAC, then don't play against the MAC. Problem solved. Go play Duke, Michigan State and North Carolina instead.

(sighs)

There are Temple fans, and there is this guy. If the others could disassociate with him, we'd get along just fine.

And had 59 minutes and 59 seconds of a 60 minute game to not allow it to come down to 1 Hail Mary pass.
