Louisville loses another Defensive Coordinator
We are going on our 4th DC in 2 freaking years. Gawd I hate Krapthrope.

Louisville assistant Miller heading to Kansas
January 10, 2009

Associated Press

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP
) -- Defensive coordinator Bill Miller has left the Louisville Cardinals to take a co-defensive coordinator position for the Kansas Jayhawks.

Miller spent one season with the Wildcats as linebackers coach and was promoted to defensive coordinator last month when Ron English left to become Eastern Michigan coach.

Miller, a native of Hutchinson, Kans., says the opportunity to be closer to his family was a major reason behind the decision.

He replaces former linebackers coach Steve Tovar, who resigned.

Miller came to Louisville from Western Michigan, where he molded the Broncos into one of the better defenses in the Mid-American Conference. Miller had previously coached at Arizona State, Florida, Miami (Fla.), Nevada and Michigan State.

In his 31-year college coaching career, Miller also held jobs at Texas-Arlington, Drake and Minnesota.

Miller played football at Hutchinson Community College from 1974-75, and at Texas Arlington in 1976-77.

Louisville coach Steve Kragthorpe says he plans to name Miller's replacement next week.

Louisville is going down in flames. Next season will be the begining of the end for Kragthorpe.

We would have been much better off if we would have just kept Paul Petrino when Bobby left for Arkansas. But Jurich freaking EGO got in the way of that.

Paul Petrino seems to be a good coach and recruiter. He would have been a good choice.

Never would happen with the way Petrino spurned Jurich. TJ would not have anything to do with "A Petrino" after that, whether or not he would have been the right choice over anybody else or not. TJ had Krags picked two years before at the Liberty Bowl when Petrino was flirting with LSU. This was a lesson learned by TJ for sure. He can redeem himself if he lets Klown go and brings in a name coach for the stadium expansion.
