Jonny Flynn a lock for SportsCenter #1 Play!
Jonny Flynn just exploded for the nastiest dunk I've seen in a long time. Some guy for Rutgers is going to have the taste of Jonny's nutsack in his mouth for a long, long time.

That was a crazy dunk, especially from a guy who might not be 6 feet. But I'm waiting to see what the Cuse does with the creme of the BE starting on Wednesday.

It's going to be murder. But at least the Cuse did not blow any games they should have won so far. Of course there's Cleveland State but who counted on a 60 foot jump shot. This is a good team in the guard position and outside shooting but we need to be stronger under the basket. Flynn's got the right kind of heart though. He took the big shot against Kansas and he's clearly a team motivator. He doean't want to lose and that will help us a lot.

I called it!! 02-13-banana 02-13-banana 02-13-banana

BE actually had three of the Top 10 plays.

Scottie Reynolds spinning hoop-and-harm was #2 and some guy from Marquette with a nice block was #10.

Wow, what a play! Does SU usually bring that many fans to games at Rutgers. Seemed like there was Orange in every camera shot

It helped that the students still weren't back for RU, but yes, when SU is good we tend to have lots of fans at games we play at St. John's, Nova, GT, Providence, Rutgers, and Seton Hall.

Not trying to stir anything up with this comment, but the idea that ND is the key attendance drawer for the traditional BE bb schools is a myth. It is us, followed by UConn, and then ND. And even Louisville has surpassed ND for Nova.

Cheers,
Neil

Myth is right. I've been a UConn fan since before the BE inception, and nobody in C onn. who isn't a ND alum gives a rat's ass about that hoop team.

Rutgers students on break and a threat of bad weather along with a struggling team kept the home fans away. At most 50-100 students showed. Rutgers opened up the student section for general admission. Cuse fans bought them with a vengeance. Even Rutgers fans admitted the place was at least 50% Cuse.
