Cardiac Cards
Three out of the last four games (UNLV, UK, Nova) have come down to the final seconds of regulation play. I don't know if I am going to last through the season at this rate.

Agree. Also, nice game Nova, nobody deserved to lose today. 04-cheers

RE: Cardiac Cards
Great game but did Nova piss this one away in the final couple minutes...my goodness. Cards played hard, and it was a great road win. With the missed FT's by Nova in final minute and the missed chippy with four seconds left Cards have to see this one as a "gift" or they "stole" one on the road.....either way W is a W and Cards got a BIG road win. Congrats!

Hopefully UC can keep within 15 of UCONN today.....

That's half the story. You can also say this, Nova never lead by more than 1 and UofL lead the game for right around 38:30 of the 40 minutes I believe. Up 11 with 7 minutes left, UofL choked away the lead. I agree Nova blew it the last 10 seconds, but UofL blew it the last 5 minutes to even allow Nova a chance to win. Len Elmore was incorrect to act like UofL didn't deserve to win, they really were in control for 33 minutes on the road.

RE: Cardiac Cards
I'm not saying UofL didn't deserve to win....no not at all. I'm saying if Nova hit some free throws or could hit a chippy (on two or three attempts in the final 4 seconds) they win this game.....it really was theirs to lose in the end and they blew it....but make no mistake about it, the Cards went in a played very well.....very well. Was a fun game to watch, good crowd, typical BE big time game!

I still can't believe UL won this game. Interesting ending to this one for sure.

Very bizzarre game to say the least. What is even more strange IMO is that Louisville was 3-25 (12%; season average 35.3%; was in top five in BE) from 3-point land and Villanova was 18-29 from FT (62.1%; season average 72.2%; was first in BE).

Off topic but Pitino had a pretty funny about the Big East IMO.

"At one timeout, Clark said, 'Coach, I'm getting killed out there,' " Pitino said. "I said, 'Is this your first year in the Big East? Welcome to the Big East.' This is what the Big East is all about. I'm sure we were fouling, too."

RE: Cardiac Cards
This was a game where with a minute left I was thinking that whoever loses can blame themselves. Nova missed all those chances in the final minute. UofL couldn't score at all the last 5 minutes and was also "stellar" in the 2nd half at the foul line, hitting only 2 of 9.
