SBC is just awful this year
We are even behind the Southland and Summit conferences, neighbors of ours who typically are considerably weaker.

If we ended up as the only non-baskeball school in the SBC, I would not be opposed to moving to the Summit. Most years, it is below the SBC, but it is a decent fit for us geographically with at least two teams close to us. And UMKC and Oral Roberts could be nice rivalries down the line.
