Wednesday's GOI (Games of Interestt) - Late edition
Conference
Tulane 5-8 (259) at East Carolina 6-5 (146) East Carolina wins 69-66
Marshall 5-6 (170) at Memphis 10-3 (27) Memphis wins 80-57
Tulsa 10-5 (103) at Southern Miss 9-5 (84) Tulsa wins 67-58

Out of Conference
South Florida 5-9 (211) vs Louisville 10-3 (41) Louisville wins 71-57
Old Dominion 9-5 (233) vs James Madison 10-6 (149) - Old Dominion loses 70-62
Boston College 13-3 (49) vs Harvard 7-6 (198) BC loses to the smart guys 82-70.
Cincinnati 9-5 (65) vs Providence 11-4 (72) Cincinnati loses 87-79

Our out of conference opponents stunk it up. The only winner was Louisville and it was a wash because it was over South Florida, another opponent.

Our RPI went from 34 yesterday to 38 today. The slide continues.

I told you guys that our RPI would go south once conference play hits. I have to credit Mike Davis for getting it done on the scheduling. Although, UAB plays two really good teams in Oklahoma and Boston College by virtue of the PNIT. But games at Cincy, at Louisville, at Butler will help. It would have helped even more if we had won some of those games. Maybe go 3-2 or even 2-3 in those games.

Since we have not played a conference game, our RPI going down has nothing to do with CUSA. It is the losing by the non conference we have played that is causing the drop. The drop due to CUSA has not started yet.

My Tigers went from 25 to 28 after the win against Marshall 03-weeping
With the loss, Marshall went from 174 to 151.

Good luck against flagship.

I think he is looking at RealtimeRPI's Power rankings, not RPI rankings. Power rankings are a prediction of where UAB will be, I believe.
