Here are some interesting stats.
on our top eight players. Points per minutes played: Moore .54, Edwards .41, III .39, Fowler .37, Co. Jackson .32, Burton .29, Smith .26, and Patterson .18.

Rebounds per minutes played: Burton .29, Smith .23, Fowler .19, Edwards .18, Co Jackson .18, Patterson .14, Moore .09, and III .07.

Steals per minutes played: III .04, Edwards .04, Fowler .03, Patterson .03, Smith .03, Burton .02, Co Jackson .02, Moore .01.
The most interesting thing about this stat is that Stevie is arguably the quickest player on our team, yet he very seldom gets a steal.

Free throw percentages: III .833, Moore .813, Burton .75, Fowler .746, Patterson .714, Edwards .65, Smith .441, Co Jackson .44.

Of course you can read into stats anything you like, but here's what I gather from these figures. Burton should be playing the majority of minutes at the five position. Based on these stats, he's our leading rebounder, a decent scorer and the best free throw shooter among our big men. He needs to learn to play without fouling, but that's another story.

Stevie, III and Fowler need to be taking most of our shots, with Stevie and III taking a lot of three point shots. Fowler and Edwards only when necessary. And you don't want Co Jackson and Mike Smith in the game when we're going to be shooting free throws.

I'm sure there are other areas which play into all of this, but the one glaring problem this team seems to have is getting our three point shooters open shots. III is shooting over 40% but he sometimes has to take a desperation shot at the end of the game, or the shot clock. If they could get him some good looks, his average would be considerably higher.

Also, as I might have mentioned before, III is a great free throw shooter, but he needs to work on his ability to draw free throws. Stevie has shot 78 while III has only shot 18. That's the only reason Stevie is our leading scorer. He is able to draw those free throws. I think III will work on that and improve, maybe even this season. Any of your comments on these stats will be appreciated.

Easily explained. III has quick hands. Stevie has quick feet.
