From Jeff's Blog regarding Coach Calapari
"After UALR played Memphis, Calipari called UALR Coach Steve Shields the next day and talked to him for a long time about the Trojans team, and about how hard they played. It was a very nice thing for Calipari to do, and something he didn't have to do".

Interestingly Steve talked to some of us about Calapari a few days before the game and stressed how much he liked him and what a class guy he had been during the scheduling of the home and home series. Some have been concerned that Calapari might not return the game. I think that's very unlikely.

We might be better off if he didn't return the game.

Memphis should be better next year. I have no clue about us. We know we lose the heart and soul of this team, John Fowler. He leaves it all on the floor every game. And Shane Edwards has played pretty well the last few games. With the exception of Fowler, you never know which of these guys are gonna show up.
