He should be able to dominate inside if we get him the ball in deep. They'll win if it's a battle of the guards, although if Dennis is still MIA that may change the equation somewhat. Their guards are more athletic than everyone but Stevie and apparently better shooters as well.

In the past they have just played street ball. Steve has faired pretty well against street ball teams. We are like 14-4 against UNT all time. The exact record is in one of my other posts but I am too lazy to look it up at this point.

We do well against street ball teams IF we play our game. And they don't have the talent up front they did. We ought to win it, but who can predict at this point. Will the tennis team show up again to play basketball for us? 03-banghead

It is a game we ought to win. Must win, if the season is to amount to anything.

First, I don't think Mike is physically capable of playing at full strength right now, and probably not the rest of the season unless he takes some time off and gets his leg or ankle healed. And his weight exaggerates his problems. It prevents him being able to move fast enough or quick enough or jump at all, so I really fell like, except in a few moments, he's done for the season. Someone else will have to step up inside, and I don't know if we have anyone else ready for prime time.
Bails also has a knee problem, and that prevents him from being able to perform at his best. With our offense so dependent on forcing the ball inside, we're toast if we keep trying this with the lack of physically able talent at that position.

Do you have some information about Mike not being physically healthy? I thought all his problems were above the neck. If he is really limited physically we'll probably struggle the rest of the season.

He's come limping out of at least the last two games. I don't know what his problem is. I'm not sure anyone else does either. He had better get it worked out or he'll be joining Kiki and D'Andre at Washburn next season.
