He was dressed out but did not play. I don't know if he was sick, injured or in the dog house. He didn't look sick, and he didn't seem to be hobbling although I know his knee has given him problems. I was wondering the same thing. Lamarvon, Burton and Bails played quite well in his absence

We saw Chris Peterson at the half and asked him about Mike, and he said he really didn't have any idea why Mike wasn't playing. So maybe Jeff will mention something on his blog.

Nothing physically wrong with Mike. Apparently in the doghouse. Not sure exactly why but apparently missed or was late for a meeting, practice or something along those lines. I guess he's something of "problem child" although I don't think he's really a bad kid. My wife pointed out that one of our sons has no sense of time and is always slow and late for everything. Really doesn't do it on purpose and I'm not sure he can help it. Maybe Mike has a similar problem.

I am guessing tthat that sums it up pretty well. Just looking at him, I would guess that self-discipline is not his strong suit - and when we won't do it ourselves, someone else has to do it for us. 03-banghead

I heard a comedian on the radio doing a whole routine about people who are always late and that we tolerate them when we should be harsh with them. "I'm running late" is always one of their lines. And he said "if you're running, why are you late"? And "I'm running behind". "Behind who? Me? I'm standing still". It was a hilarious routine. Maybe Mike falls into that category of people who can't get anywhere on time. We all know them, don't we!
