Good win for the men tonight
Can't wait to see the stats on this game. We beat a team that shot the ball, especially the three pretty doggone good tonight. Can't believe how many fouls were called, and how many free throws were shot by both teams. Our guys sure didn't quit, but we all know that we don't have any killer instinct, and can't put a team away. We had them on the ropes several times, and almost let it get away.

Good to see four guys in double figures scoring wise. Still have trouble defending the three. Probably has never happened under Steve. Good effort guys.

Don't understand the fact that if Stevie starts, Matt sits, and if Matt starts, Stevie sits. I want both in there at the same time.

I'm with you on III and Stevie in the lineup at the same time. I've been saying that ever since the North Texas game last year when III first emerged as a "player" for us. They compliment each other, and both make things happen offensively.

What was the deal on the fouls? Were the refs just call-happy, or did it really get that rough?

The problem is that right now we have to have both Shane and Fowler in the game since they are hot, so they can't slide them to that side. Is Stevie ever playing point these days?

I thought the game was very poorly officiated. They made more terrible calls than any game I can remember in awhile. Then they would overlook some brutal foul. It was difficult for the players to get into a flow because there was a whistle on nearly every possession. We were extremely lucky to win this game, but I give our kids credit. They could have folded, but they didn't. Winning ugly is our trademark.

True! We give ourselves so little margin for error in some of the major stat categories that we have to piece wins together from the miscellaneous column. Games are won on the court, not the stat sheet, and this team sure proves it, because our stat sheet is nothing to brag about in most regards.

Very unusual for our program. But great. I just want to win some games where we don't bite our nails all off before the game is over.
