Tipsy, Steve Gutterhelmet, Gutterhelmet, etc.
I wonder if they are still lurking.

I looked at the old board on the "wayback machine" over the holiday and found that there were posts from someone with the screen name "Steve Gutterhelmet" and just plain ole "gutterhelmet"

Steve...makes me wonder.

Gutterhelmet (or steve gutterhelment) always called Steve Shields an "evil genius"...hmmm

As for Tipsy...what are you up to these days? Rehab? 04-cheers

I don't know who either one was. Tipsy seemed like an angry drunk. Some has postulated that Gutterhelmet was actually Porter Moser. I don't know, but if Porter ever reads our board, and he was Gutterhelmet, he can now confess so we will no longer be ignorant of his identity.

Tipsy was a student, or a former student who was having fun supporting the Trojans, trying to get some students involved, and was evidently run off by someone at the school. I remember he spoke of some administrator at the school that was out to get him. It was not anyone in the athletic department.

Evidently someone at the school thought he got a little carried away, and was afraid he might infect those students who attended the games, and UALR basketball would end up like other schools where students get involved. Then the university would have to put more emphasis on basketball, and might even have to demand that the program rise above the mediocre level, which some of our fans wouldn't want to happen.

05-stirthepot That pretty much sums up Tipsy. I believe the man behind "Tipsy" was Preston Polson. He had a LOT to say about the way students and athletics are viewed by the students and the administration. Another problem he identified was the anti-fraternity stance of that one particular administrator whose name escapes me (McGee?). The one who sent the threatening pseudo-legal "cease and desist' letters to Tipsy regarding his satirical website (tipsyclub.com, AKA asusucks.com). I hope he resurfaces to tell us what he's doing these days and whatever became of all that nonsense. 05-stirthepot
