We outgained Memphis 496 yds to 238 and UCF was 504 to 226.

Tulsa would put up points but so would USF, if Houston scored 70 on them that tells you what their defense is like.

A healthy ECU would had been the only team that I could see playing USF and having a chance at winning unless USF self destroyed.

Give me a break with Rice. Who did the Owls beat? this is a team that barely beat Memphis and Army

I think my post said we took you to O time.. but lets be honest we shouldn't have. I wasnt putting us in a group that could or should beat U. but that game shows you clearly can be beat.

U agreed on ECu... and I said houston or Tusla would have to light it up... your O can shoot itself in the foot enough to allow a win by them.. would they be favored no.. could they win on any given day.. yes. that is 3 teams.. 4 would be a stretch.. but not out of the question.

Rice would be an upset, as I said.. but once again your qb can be great or horrid..see your statement on our game about horrid decisions on O. let him be the latter and they could pull an upset.

If you read my post you would see that I NEVER said that we were unbeatable.
I said ECU was the ONLY team in CUSA that could have a shot at beating a USF team playing well. The others would need USF to have a bad game with bad decisions. Tulsa would score points but unless USF was playing badly so would they.

So once again yes Tulsa, Houston and maybe a couple of others would have a shot at beating USF if we didnt play up to our potentil but NO if USF played up to their level.

USF won 2 conference games...and got to play 15 mins from their home field.

Memphis went 6-6 and got to play at a bowl game in sunny Florida.

USF won because they are better and playing basically a home game.

that is all.

Go Tigers!!!
Drew

You are correct and probaly Memphis was taken because the y want to join the Beast and their could be a push by some wigs to get them in, only the goose knows and he won't share it with us.

Cuban bowl, Don't you just love these C-U.S.A. guys? I am SOOOOO glad to be in the Big East. I would gladly take Memphis but the rest of C-U.S.A. i wouldnt trade Seton Hall for. Oh well, I do wish them the best in their quest to reach the Liberty Bowl! Good luck to C-U.S.A!

Lolllllllll,St Johns appears to be worse than SH in BB this year and USF is even worse loll..........I believe USF lost to Wright State and that is pitifull......

Im trying to figure out what the basketball reference has to do with USF beating CUSA opponents in football, but I must have missed it.

Yes USF has a lot of problems in basketball this year.

FYI...St Johns lost to former Big East rival Miami yesterday 70-56 in front of a crowd LESS THAN 5,000 at Madison Square Garden.

As one who grew up when The Sweater WAS NYC Basketball...its sad to see what St Johns has turned into today.

PS. Have they ever won since they changed their team name?

Miami does have a good team. The problem is, St. John's doesn't. That will become clear to all once conference play begins...
