RE: CONGRATS BULLS!
Since no other BSU fans have said it on here yet, I will. Congrats to Buffalo. They played well, and Ball State clearly did not. It was very disappointing, but I'm certainly not going to take anything away from the Bulls. They earned it last night.

I'll get over the disappointment in time because I'd take 12-1 any year. Just tough when that 1 comes in game 13 and the most important game of the season.

Absotively. Ball State fans can point to alot of reasons for losing but they're merely excuses. Buffalo won and I congratulate their team and their fans.

I thought BSU would win this game soundly, but the Bulls got some lucky breaks and managed to win. I'm sure BSU fans aren't happy, but look on the bright side, at least you weren't Akroned.

RE: CONGRATS BULLS!
Great to here positive comments by BSU fans. A lot of whining on this board, but ironically, it's not from the BSU folks.

My $0.02
  • I think Buffalo just wanted it more. Interesting comment by Steve Christie on the Buffalo pregame- UB had more of a chip on its should after losing to KSU going into this game than it would have if they were going in with a 6 game winning streak. And all those close games may have made UB more ready for a tight 60 minutes game than a team accustomed to blow-outs.
  • For all the talk of Gill moving on, I've heard very little about Hoke. For as little pay and support as he gets from BSU Administration, is he looking to move on?
  • I still wonder how much Davis was affected by this flu-bug. He was just not right. Can't believe the problems with the center exchange at this point in the season. FWIW- if the All-conference team was put out today, would Davis still be first team and Willey not in the top 3?
  • Looking at the box score, it shows you how little stats actually mean..........of course except for the final stat.
  • And the last totally meaningless comment, I don't think Ball State would have been undefeated if they have played UB's schedule. Missouri and Pitt on the road and no 1AA schools. Would have saved a lot of drivel today about UB's win being bad for the MAC. Now Temple........a Temple win would be bad for the MAC Rimshot

Well, that one snap was all on the center. Davis wasn't even looking.

Good point. Actually, I think a couple were on the center. A shotgun snap when Davis was under center, and the snap in the shotgun when Davis wasn't looking.

I still think it came down to UB wanting it more. I think Ball State felt it won the league when it beat NIU, CMU, and WMU to win the west. UB wouldn't have stayed with the team that beat NIU.

RE: CONGRATS BULLS!
Buffalo fans, players, coaches, etc... CONGRATS from a big TEMPLE fan and former player. Its great to see that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. The Bulls have been down a long time just like our TEMPLE Owls and it gives us hope that sometime in the near future we can be at the top just like you guys are today.

It was pretty tough to watch you guys win last night knowing we lost on that Hail Mary, but there is nothing better than seeing a team who has worked their way from the bottom to the top to win it. I only wish Golden was 1/10th of the coach as you have.

Congrats to your team and your fans... you're on TEMPLE's radar for next year. Your the champs and we plan on beating the champs on the way to becoming the champs.

Enjoy it and go win the bowl.
