James Madison Game Thread
I'll take a look at their lineup later and make a better post, but let's get the party started. Big game for the Owls tonight! Road wins are tough to come by, and this one will be a tough game for our young team.

Not gonna have time to preview the game. No Asun.tv for the game either, so we might just be going by the boxscores tonight...oh well.

Were going to have our hands full tonight. Were good enough to pull off the win. Just no dumb mistakes and lets hope our shooting is much like our opener.

RE: James Madison Game Thread
Looks like we went cold for about an 8 minute stretch in the first half, and that sealed our fate. Played them even pretty the whole game other than that. Defensively it looks like we didn't have a very strong game as James Madison had 5 players in double figures.

On a positive note, JMac had another double double, John Allison looks to have played some significant minutes (15 pts 6 rb), and Dixon scored an efficient 14 points (5-9 FG). Hopefully we learned some road lessons that can be applied at Colgate. Would be nice to steal one on the road before coming back home for a few games.

Need to take small victories. Every game we play is huge for our young guys. With some seasoning Spencer can be a solid contributor for us. Woods has almost unlimited potential just have get him to be a little more consistent.

Still haven't heard any official word outside of rumors about Mitchell and Cummings. Would love to know something solid.

I was at the game tonight and James Madison wasn't that good. Here is the story of the game ... We shot 2 Freethrows in the first half and JMU shot 14. Allison got extended minutes because Whipple was hurting tonight. Playing at home, we beat this team by 15.

The team leaves here tomorrow at 3pm from Washington, DC.

Unfortunately that will happen GFWO - playing on the road is tough. Sometimes you have to beat 8 on 5.

True KB.

The newspaper here is the Daily-News Record. It says in friday's edition the Dukes' coach said that "They are a team that is very athletic. They have a lot of guys that they can put on the court at any one time that can shoot the ball. They don't have any fear. This is a game where they can go out and make a reputation for themselves."
