An old crow laid an egg today that contained interesting information about the redistribution of the salary of the late Wayne Miller in ETSU Athletics. One major item noted was the massive increase given to Breedlove in the amount of $17,000 and others also had increases.

I have no documentation on this but there are some noticable "title" changes since the last time I looked. I'm not where I can actually get my hands on the published salary details (housed at the ETSU library) but I'd almost bet that if it were requested through the University Relations office, it would have to be provided to any interested party.... I don't know the dates when these supposed increases took effect but given the current budget issues, it might be nice to know.

I'd love to see how salary increases continue to get justification in Athletics when the rest of campus has to sit and wonder why there's all this budget crisis talk going on... Is this "state" money in terms of the student fee, institutional allocation, or private money that could be shifted to scholarships and program support???

She needs a raise about like I need a sharpstick in the eyeball.
