TV Update re: Pitt-Cincy
ESPN2 today announced that they would move the ABC reverse mirror game over to ESPN and that Boise St.-Nevada would air on ESPN2 starting at 4pm.

Just in case you turn in to ESPN2 at 7:15pm on Saturday and you don't see the beginning of the Pitt-Cincy game.

Nice "partner" ESPN is. Any comment from the hybrid-defenders?

You honestly think ESPN doing this has anything whatsoever to do with the Big East being a hybrid league? 04-jawdrop

There are reasons to advocate for an all-sports league over a hybrid, but this isn't one of them.

Cheers,

To be clear, they aren't joining UC-Pitt at halftime. Maybe right after kickoff. They gave the BSU game a 3:15 hr window and thats been plenty of time for most games this year.

Since its also a KTVB-Boise production and not an ESPN one, they can always cut away since the game is being shown locally in Boise.

RE: TV Update re: Pitt-Cincy
Omni, I recall someone posting on here that it is ESPN that considers the league more valuable as a hybrid than a split.

I guess that point is neither here nor there anyway, I’ll agree with that much. But, the fact remains, for ESPN to be such a “partner” to the BE, we sure as heck don’t seem to see such a benefit, as far as TV coverage goes.
