Do you realize how insanely good Big East hoops looks this year?

7 ranked teams? 04-rock

And two (Syracuse and West Virginia) that are probably as good, if not better than 3 of those 7.

Cheers,
Neil

This conference gonna be sick. Road wins will be very tough in the BE this year.

Hartford is giving UCONN all it can handle right now. Let's hope UCONN can pull this out. Hartford is essentially playing a home game even though UCONN is the favorite in the state.

I'm not sold on UConn being a Top 5 team this year until they can show me some form of consistency. The talent is obviously there, but I still don't see a cohesive team (similar to Florida State in football).

Hartford isn't the only Connecticut team to give UConn troubles. Quinnipiac has given us some hard faught battles as well, the past couple of years.

That said, our lead (41-32) appears fairly comfortable at the half.

Can't believe Hartford and their zone is giving UCONN trouble. Dyson is finally deciding to take it over. He is attacking the rim big time now. He just did a sick behind the back dribble to get 2 points.

Hartford is shooting real well while playing good zone D despite being outclassed athletically.

Yeah, I'm watching that game too. I wanted to say that UConn was spanking a cupcake, but that's not the case at the moment.

And this is why UConn needs a lights-out three point shooter.

Dyson is a freak. He keeps on improving every single game.

They turned it up a bit defensively. Is it me or did Dyson gain some muscle? He looks like a RB right now. I know he used to play football, but he looks a lot stronger than last year.

85-54. UCONN decided to play some D in the 2nd half.

Kemba Walker gonna be a sick PG in the BE this year. This kid is one man fast break and he can knock down the 3s. With AJ Price and Kemba Walker, thats one good tandem right there.

Yeah, Calhoun decided to flip on the 'ass-wuppin' switch, I guess. The next practice is still gonna be brutal though. The were very lethargic in the 1st half.

99-56. Hartford kept close for a while there. Austrie, Walker and Dyson outscored Hartford by themselves.

Hartford never should have stayed with UConn as long as they did. They played very sloppy in the first half...
