Pitt isn't UConn. Maybe we shouldn't play the game. UConn should win 49-2. Or Pitt would just LUCK OUT.

I shouldn't have used such a "wide brush" in saying "uconn fans" but rather should have just said "SF Husky"....my bad.

It’s rather obvious as to what you meant.

If you gonna rag on me, at least come up with something original. Your buddy CardinalJim already used the same joke already. Funny how UltimateCFB guy had the same response.
You could say the same thing about RU and Cincy. Many of the homer fans here are way worse than me when it comes to overrating their own teams. At least I have never over ranked UCONN unlike some folks here. Show me one post where I have ranked UCONN above everyone.

RE: Rank the Big East week 12
Things that rank below UConn's football team:
2. Alaskan Huskies - These canines are better than every other BE team. They are almost as good as UConn but they don't have Lorenzen or Frazer, the best QBs in the universe.
3. UConn's logo - The logo strikes fear in the hearts of football teams everywhere and makes other Big East teams wet themselves from fright.
4. God - UConn actually created the world so UConn > God. Plus, God doesn't have Heisman winner and the best RB of all time Donald Brown on his team.
5. NFL - UConn was going to join, but the other teams were like "OMG! It's UConn!" and wouldn't let them in.
6. America -UConn is the world's team and therefore is bigger than America. UConn's football team is so good they can beat every other
7. 2000 - the 1st D-1A UConn team. This team was better than every BE team could ever hope or dream to be.
8. Grover Cleveland - enough said.
....

100. The rest of the Big East

RE: Rank the Big East week 12
1. Cincy- Knocked off WVU, BCS bid goes through Nippert
2. West Virginia- Rooting for Pitt hard this week
3. Pittsburgh- Impressive win versus Ville but can they knock off both Cincy and WVU?
4. Rutgers- Schiano really has these guys playing really well
5. UConn- one dimensional and lost to Rutgers
6. Ville- Played a good game against Cincy, too inconsistent though
7. USF- I just don't know what happened, good chance to make something out of this season with a win against UConn
8. Syracuse- Coachless, dejected, awful

RE: Rank the Big East week 12
ESPN did their power rankings but apparently they are biased and stupid as well cause they got RU higher than Uconn
1. Cincinnati (8-2, 4-1): Are the Bearcats the team of destiny in this league or what? They've used five different quarterbacks and forced two large monkeys (West Virginia and Louisville) to dismount off their spinal columns. Now comes another team they've never beaten in league play, Pittsburgh, for a high-stakes showdown.
2. Pittsburgh (7-2, 3-1): There's no doubt which side should be fresher this week at Nippert Stadium. Panthers used the bye week to get some extra preparation time, while Cincinnati has played three straight emotional games.
3. West Virginia (6-3, 3-1): Last time the Mountaineers had a week off, they responded with a big performance in beating Auburn. If they come anywhere near that level of play this time, they should win at Louisville. That would move them into a two-way tie for first place after the weekend is over. West Virginia fans will have to hold their nose and root for Pitt this weekend.
4. Rutgers (5-5, 4-2): No one in the league is playing better than Rutgers right now. The Scarlet Knights have won their last three games by an average score of 46-22. Big East teams that got to play them early in the schedule must be feeling pretty thankful.
5. Connecticut (7-3, 3-2): The most welcome stat for Randy Edsall on Saturday was this: zero turnovers by the Huskies. With Tyler Lorenzen back, UConn could finish strong if it keeps avoiding mistakes.
6. Louisville (5-5, 1-4): Speaking of mistakes, the Cardinals have been their own worst enemy most of this season. Bad penalties, missed field goals, failed fourth down plays, and untimely turnovers have been the norm. Their only Big East win came against ...
7. South Florida (6-4, 1-4): The Bulls were the trendy pick to win the Big East championship this summer, but they aren't even going to finish with a winning record in the conference. They have to be ranked this low, because the only team they've beaten is ...
8. Syracuse (2-8, 1-5): I've run out of words to describe Syracuse, so I'll just steal a line from Tracy Morgan on last week's "30 Rock." Orange football is "like an owl without a graduation cap ... heartbreaking."

The Pitt-UConn game reminded me of this thread. Some did pretty well while other didn't do all that hot.
