Ian Clark combo guard from Germantown, TN. 6'3"
Described as "arguably the best shooter in Memphis".
With Scott Saunders figured in this class, this is a very balanced talented group. Saunders is the real deal btw, saw him at the scrimmage last week. He's going to be a serious post presence in this league although it appears as if a number of other teams are having some success attracting reasonable big men, which ultimately is a good thing.
The freshman all could contribute, however it will be interesting to see if any take a redshirt as none of them will get significant pt with the returning talent. Brandon Baker may be the most likely to rs with the existing depth at his position.

Thanks for the heads up. Sounds like a great pick-up after doing a little search on him.
Unfortunately the event is on my basketball night, and I missed. What else can you say about the scrimmage? Obviously we know a lot about this team with all of the experience. Anything else stand out.

RE: Third early verbal
Clearly it's very early, but.......
Jordan Campbell is a terrific all around player.
Renfroe looks to be shooting better from outside.
Jonny Rice has a very quick, accurate shot, but he is smallish.
The three freshman can all play, but are still learning where to fit in. Brandon Baker plays very hard, not that the others don't, he just stood out. Nice outside shot as well.
Drew Hanlen will get some minutes and will grow into a nice point guard although he's bit smallish too.
Mick Hedgpeth has some post skills and can shoot the three also.
Shane had the only dunk of the night, although everybody knows we're more about the three, than the dunk.
Otherwise, they'll probably look very similar to last year with an up tempo offense and defense to try and take advantage of their depth.
There is an exhibition on Nov 6th which will at least give us a bit better opportunity to see what they have in game situations.
