Can we please get a bi-partisan commision on election reform
I do feel for people on the right who have legitimate concerns with this election about voter fraud. There's an article in TIME magazine (not exactly your bastion of conservative thought) on 7 things that could go wrong with this election. Half way through it I'm having flashbacks of Fl. 2000. No one WINS here. W was hampered by people thinking he stole the mandate. How people can be thrown off the rolls because their signatures are put into the computer wrong. Even Joe the Plumber isn't registered to vote because they have Wurlinblacher or whatever it is spelled wrong on the rolls. Katherine Harris threw out 55,000 registered voters in D precincts in 2000. That's the number that gets thrown around. Just google it if you don't believe me. THERE IS NOTHING MORE IMPORTANT TO A DEMOCRACY than to have the perception of a fair election. No one wins here. Left Right, Red Blue, Purple...... whoever. All of us should join together and demand better. Hell have the UN come in and monitor it.
Here's the TIME article

It's not voter fraud. It's voter registration fraud. It's against ACORN not the states. ACORN is just a pass through agency that flags questionable applications but must give all of them to the state regardless of what the name on the application is. When Mickey Mouse, or Donald Duck show up at the polls, then it is voter fraud. A person can submit as many applications as they want to the state, but can still only vote once.

Read the article from TIME. I understand the ACORN registration thing but both sides have gripes about multi votes. Registrations. You have to have the perception of fairness in a democracy.
