Predict the BEast Week 10
Cincy over USF: I bet It'll be a lot like the USF vs. UofL game from last week, only colder.

WVU over UCons: WVU is looking better, and I will continue to give UCons no credit.04-rock

Pitt over Notre Shame: This is more of a hope pick than a confidence pick.04-rock

The Ville over Cuse: The Cards come back from trailing big and make a miraculous game winning play to save the day.

RE: Predict the BEast Week 10
Unfortunately with our QB being out, I expect Cav to call all dive plays and bubble screens. Pitt will be lucky to score 2 TDs against ND. I hope I am wrong about that, but watching our OC the last few years, I fear I am correct. Worse yet out Center broke his ankle and is done for the year. That means the OL which had been clicking will need to on top of their game to win. Dom Williams seemed to have some problems on Saturday.

ND still not looking like a BCS bowl team. Of course we know that matters little. If they run the table I'd say they earned a spot.

WVU

RE: Predict the BEast Week 10
USF bounces back. Cincy keeps it close but the Bulls win.

WVU and UConn. Huge game and a must win for UConn if they want to stay in the title hunt. I think UConn rides their momentum from the Cincy game and pulls another win out in an exciting game.

Pitt loses to ND.

Cuse lets out one last gasp against Louisville, but it won't be enough. GRob is fired after the game.

Cincy over USF - Cincy is at home.

UCONN over WVU: WVU gonna find out it won't be so easy to run on UCONN D at home.

ND over Pitt: I hope Pitt wins but without their QB it will be tough.

The Ville over Cuse: Well all I got to say is Ville better win this game. Regardless what Army Mike is saying, Ville is still UCONN's *****.

The Ville/Cuse is the game of the week in my opinion.

It's GRob's time to shine! 04-rock

Cincy/USF- I wouldn't bet on this game. I have no idea what's going to happen. Thanks UConn..... 03-banghead

You've been on the money with the Mountaineers all season. What's your secret?

I'm with you on this one. I might as well ride the bandwagon while the riding is good... 04-cheers

Wishful thinking, dude... 07-coffee3

That what a lot of people have said about WVU's games against some of the best running defenses in the nation. Auburn came into Morgantown ranked in the top 10 in rushing defense, and they've played some good running teams. LSU had to come from behind to beat Auburn 26-21 on a last minute TD. Colorado was highly ranked against the run, and WVU ran for over 300 yards. UConn is the next team to find out what a rushing attack really is. Of course, UConn already knows what WVU's rushing attack can do, if their memory hasn't blanked it out...

Remember last year? The Mountaineer offense is just getting untracked this year, and is now starting to click. I pity y'all if they hit all cylinders up there... 05-stirthepot

Nope I predicted WVU to lose because of the trends so far. Everytime we think a team is the so called favorate it loses. And UConn just can win the game. Its a 50/50 shot. Even you must admit that a team wins and a team loses. You tought me that philosphophy. 04-cheers

Actually, we were running the ball just fine vs. UConn (7 carries, 49 yards by our two RBs). However, sometime in the middle of the second quarter, Kelly inexplicably abandoned any attempt to run the ball.

If we could run, WVU should be able to. WVU has come a LONG way since not being able to pick up a 3rd-1 vs. Colorado.

See what I mean, SF Husky?

Final RU rushing stats against UCONN:

CAR YDS AVG TD LG
Team 34 76 2.2 1 9

Final Cincy rushing stats against UCONN:

Team 19 30 1.6 0 15

Between RU and Cincy, UCONN gave up 106 yards.

Just remember what those Cincy fans were saying before the game against UCONN before the total ass whooping.

Eers will move the ball against UCONN on the ground. It is when you guys get into the red zone you will see how good UCONN D is, especially at home. UCONN D won the game against Cincy BTW.

You better hope your young D can hold our rushing attack. You gonna find out our rushing offense is not so easy to contain even with 8 or 9 in the box like everyone has done so far.

This is the first year I feel we got a shot against EErs.

Just remember UCONN is 1 missed FG away from being 7-1 right now.
