Hats' off to Louisville
You answered the bell midway through the 4th quarter and knocked us out. Nice job.

Even with Pitt's dismal performance against Rutgers, USF is probably out of the Big East title race.

:(

Congratulations to the Cardinals.

Thanks, but I fully expect that USF will win out, get the BE title and have a solid 10-2 record by years end. No QB has ripped our secondary the way Grothe did, 30-40 passing, that dude is the REAL DEAL. I understand you had some new O-Line guys in? I was surprised that our D was able to get in the backfield as much as we did.

A little but one game is not a trend yet. I am still afraid English will become a head coach again soon. He is the one that has real fixed the defense as has Brohm fixed our offense. If they leave can Krapthorpe handle it is still the real question. However, I 'm am happy today. 04-cheers

Grothe did have a great day passing, but as I said in the other thread, USF had only 8 total net rushing yards the entire game.

Granted sacks count as negative rushing yards, but even taking out Grothe's minus sack yardage, UofL's front 7 totally shut down USF's ground game.

So Grothe was flinging it a lot, and he will get his completions and yardage with enough attempts, but I'll take it. It's good to make a team one-dimensional like that; plus if a QB throws it enough, we'll get some picks, which we got a couple yesterday.
