RE: I have to give credit to UConn
Basically...UConn won both battles in the trenches, unlike last year where our D-Line probably stalemated Cincy's O-Line but our line couldn't do anything...

This is the third straight good offense our D has held to under 300 yards. When will it begin to receive credit?

Good win for the Huskies. You better be ready for next week. I know the Mountaineers will be ready. It should be a DEVINE game...

I think WVU wins the game next week. UC's defense played very well today, and we gave up running the ball.

i hope it's close and not a blow out like last year, you guys played scary good against auburn, but your d is vulnerable.
the experts had uconn favored today...

I have always said UCONN got a great D. Some people never gave credit to this D. They delivered. Cincy was throwing so much I think all the UCONN DBs knew where the routes were by the 4th quarter.
SF, you (along with Superfly and #1) hit it squarely on the head. Kelly seemed to completly abandon the run right after Ramsey ran about 25 yards in two carries from the shadow of the EZ. Very strange. I'm also tired of BK going for it on 4th all the time.

Stranger still was Edsall going away from Brown for quite a while. In one sense, he seemed to give your green QB quite a lot of conifdence. I think it worked, from that standpoint.

What's even more funny is our 2 or 3 star PA freshman QB looked much better than Pitt's 5 star 2nd year QB Pat Bostach (spelling ??). Our coaches really trusted this kid and he delivered. I thought he made some really good decisions out there.

Yes UCONN left the run game a little, but Brown delivered when he was called upon.

computer was down the past few days so I couldn't comment. But damn that was ugly. Uconns dline dominated the uc oline and pike was obviouslynflustered by that. Like everyone else I can't remember the last time a uc football team has looked this bad. But credit to uconn, they took advantage and proved they were the better team. Still not sure why Kelly stopped giving the ball to ramsey but hopefully they will be better Thursday night.

BINGO!

Oh ok, my mistake. UC's running game was carving up UConn and he pulled it, so you have to ask Kelly that. What a stupid coaching decision.

Yes I was also surprised that Kelly abandoned the run, I wonder if they were over confident entering the game, I know Uconn was hungry for that sweet revenge, also I wonder if Lorenzen was holding back UConns offense......

The Cats are still respectable and should go to a bowl.
The Ville is scary this year, they outgained uconn almost 2-1 and still lost. English has done a great job there.
