Obama Supporter VUI?
Is it Illegal to Drink and Vote?

Quote:A woman had passed out while casting her ballot at an early-voting site. Bernalillo County Clerk Maggie Toulouse Oliver doesn't know if the woman completed her ballot — she was subsequently transported by ambulance to a local hospital, which has no record of admitting her — but said it will be counted.

I wonder if this is many of the thousands of homeless people ACORN is driving to early voting locations across the US? Voting Under the Influence, that certainly explains why someone would vote for Obama. 05-stirthepot

Actually, it's not. It's why alcohol sales were prohibited on voting day for years.

Not in WV, I knew Union leaders that picked up union members, drove to the liquor store bought them a pint, then took them to vote, Straight Democrat Ticket of course.

If this was a union election we'd know what her vote was - that is, if the democrats had their way.

The ACORN minder didn't get the memo--- they are supposed to give the homeless their booze AFTER they leave the polls and get on the bus.

In Georgia it is a felony to promise or give anyone anything of value to either vote period or vote for a certain candidate.

It is definitely illegal to vote while intoxicated here in Alabama.
