High School game in Louisville drew almost 39,000 Friday night
This is the annual rivalry (one of the best in the country) between two of the best programs in the state (St. Xavier and Trinity).

These two Louisville Catholic schools always draw thirty-something thousand for this game held at Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium. This year’s game was one-sided with St. X winning 30-6.

St. X runs all over Trinity in 30-6 rout

Four yellow-clad players score TDs against Rocks

The St. Xavier High School football team — sporting gaudy yellow uniforms — continued its offensive tour de force last night, getting a touchdown apiece from four players in a shocking 30-6 rout of defending Class 6-A champion Trinity at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium.

With a series-record crowd of 38,872 watching — surpassing the old mark of 38,500 in 2005 — the Tigers showed their 55.8-point average entering the game was no fluke........

This game was video taped by The NFL Channel. So be watching for the rebroadcast at some point. Too bad X wore all yellow uniforms. Eye catching is a kind word for them. There was some good talent on both sides of the ball. There's an Ohio St. signee playing for Trinity. Hopefully Deuce Finch, the X RB, will come to UofL.

Incredible attendance for an high school game. Kinda makes me want to journy down to L'Ville to catch that game one of these years. I could imagine how high the 50/50 would be.
