Game Picks for 9/27/08
I lost my post and don't have time to rewrite it again, so hear are my picks with the key to the game.

9/27 Bowling Green @Wyoming; Wyoming wins: 7,220 plays a factor in the 2nd half.

9/27Colorado St @California; Colorado St wins: Upset special, Billy Farris passing has really came on and gave the Rams balance on O.

9/27 Idaho @San Diego St; San Diego St win: Game is played in San Diego and Idaho just had a bad loss to Utah St.

9/27 New Mexico @New Mexico St; New Mexico wins: New Mexico St has not been able to stop the run, which is New Mexico's bread and butter.

9/27 TCU @Oklahoma; Oklahoma wins: Should be a close game and I would not be shocked if TCU wins this game, but in the end the game is being played in Norman.

9/27 Weber St @Utah; Utah wins: Utah will just be to much for the Wildcats and Coach Mac.

9/27 Nevada @UNLV; UNLV wins: UNLV's D is better than Nevada's and the game is in Las Vegas.

Let's hope there's at least one upset by either TCU or CSU.

Well I was off on my upset pick. Spinning it, Colorado St did gain 3 more yards that California did, but you can not give up a blocked punt for a TD, a pick 6 for another TD, and a 70 yard punt return for yet a 3rd TD and expect to win very many games when only gaining 3 more yards than the other team.
I had a hard time watching the Wyoming game, missed the TCU game, and could not believe how UNLV let the Nevada QB run wild play after play on the almost the same option play each time....

Boy, that a good question about Coach Glenn. From what I'm hearing is Glenn is on a pretty hot seat and the natives are getting pretty restless. This is Glenn's 5th year and he has a 28-36 win loss record. His contract is at the point were it will either be renewed or Wyoming will be going a different direction. It kind of sounds like Glenn needs to make a Bowl game this year in order to keep his job, that's why IMO the Bowling Green game was very important. Wyoming really needed to win as many home games as they could, because I'm not sure I see 4 wins on their schedule; @New Mexico (maybe), Utah (nope), @TCU (nope), San Diego St (maybe), @Tennessee (not likely), @UNLV (not likely this year), and Colorado St (maybe). Maybe they can find 4 wins in these last 7 games, but they better start playing better than they are now.
