Negative Threads ... I Like Their Absence Today
Trust me. I don't want them back to do their usual routine, but I am really curious that there are no negative threads ... Or at least any that I've seen yet.
Where'd they go? I find it impossible to believe that we played a flawless game today that showed no room for improvement anywhere. Where are the 'glass half empty' people? Still sleeping, perhaps?

OK, I'll turn this into one.

We beat a bad D-IAA team. Put the Kool Aid down and get yourself some coffee.

It's good that the team got a win. Very good.

But are there any laurels whatsoever to sit on now? Nope.

Is there much work still to be done? Yep.

Is it time to break out the Fritos, spike the Kool Aid, and party like it's 1999? Not on your life.

RE: Negative Threads ... I Like Their Absence Today
This year we beat a D-1AA team 45-10.
Last year we beat a D-1AA team 22-0.
Progress?
imo, yes.
We did what we were supposed to do, which was beat this type of team decisively.

The result of our score being more than our opponents score is directly proportional to the number of negative threads following a game.

Simply put: Win more = less negative threads.

I am bitching about the :scout:itty hot dogs and our pathetic radio station.

Oh and The LF security's fetish with my binocular case is ridiculous. They give me hell about it but let in 15,000 umbrellas.

There a thread turned negative.

Heck I figured we won't hear much from the naysayers until the South C game.

Yeah, you can bring in an umbrella. You just can't open it.

And as much as it pains me to say this, BOSSMAN is spot on regarding the Legion Field hot dogs. Yeeech.

Speaking of Bossman, I wonder how he's taking the news that our attendance was higher than theirs yesterday?

I've avoided LF food because I've enjoyed the BlazerTalk tailgate fare.
Some would say a little too much. As I said yesterday, I feel obligated to sample everything brought to the occasion.

I was looking for you guys yesterday, but I couldn't find y'all anywhere. Where does the BlazerTalk tailgate set up? I'll be here for the Marshall game, and I wouldn't mind meeting some of y'all again, and most of y'all for the first time.

My dog was made sometime last month and was burned and had some form of green mold on it. It was so bad I took a picture of it with the camera phone so people would believe me on how bad it looked. Needless to say I got my money back.

Don't worry. That is the last dog I will ever purchase at LF. They used to not be that bad.

RBB if you liked the dog I had you are truly Superman. Rat on a stick would have been more palatable than that thing.

Hell No! Sad part is I will be late to the mempiss game. Someone may have to sneak some food in for me. Maybe I can bring Attalla III and sneak some food in the diaper bag.

As long as it keeps the dundering duo (NF and macblaze) away, I dont care.

Congrats, Blazers on the first win of the year. Keep the momentum going...

RE: Negative Threads ... I Like Their Absence Today
My hot dog (technically a bratwurst dog) was excellent. But it was prepared on my grill out in the parking lot!

My experience last year was that the Pizzas were very good. I haven't had the pleasure this year (With the Pizza Bowl going BCS I'm less inclined to support PJs).

Hey Phil, great seeing you at the game, next time skip the LF food and I'll set you up with a Brats Dog during the tailgate, my treat.

RE: Negative Threads ... I Like Their Absence Today
You are right. Not too many negative posts upon winning.

What I want to know is how this went from negative posting to hot dog bashing. Who freaking cares about the damn hot dogs!! They have always been hours old and average. Just like all freaking hot dogs...average. If you don't want lips and asses, don't buy any and have a cup of shut the **** up.

All we need now is Cephus moaning about NO STADIUM CUPS!!! I may have already missed that on another thread....if so, I'm sorry.

Blow Gazers!!
